- Also add in turmeric, chilli powder, biryani masala, coriander powder salt to taste.

- Spread soaked rice. Soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Further, sprinkle biryani masala and salt.
- And pour 2 cups of water from side of cooker without disturbing layers.
- Cover the cooker and simmer for 25 minutes or till the rice cooks well.
